Today is my last day in Florence…. sob. I have loved it here and I have learned a lot. My time in Florence flew by so quickly. Perhaps it was because we spent quite a bit of time outside of Florence visiting other cities such as Siena, Pisa, Ravenna, etc. This city was a huge source of Renaissance artists such as Michelangelo, Donatello, Ghiberti, and more. I continue to be impressed with how rich the history is here and how much I have to learn. Thank you Florence and Italy!

Florence is in Tuscany, the beautiful picturesque part of Italy that everyone sees in the pictures. My first day wasn’t out in that country you see of wine fields, or olive orchards.
